What counts as evidence
- Official statements — the CEO's "core audience" comment and every investor-call mention.
- Take-Two financial commentary — hints live in earnings calls and SEC filings.
- Rockstar history — GTA V took 19 months console-to-PC; Red Dead Redemption 2 took about 13.
- Credible reporting — clearly labelled as rumour, never as fact.
Why the date stays empty
Rockstar releases platforms deliberately. Console fixed hardware gets the first polish pass; PC is scaled up later. Until Newswire says something, "confirmed, no date" is the only honest status.
Where the pattern points
A 13-month gap (RDR2 pace) lands around December 2027; a 19-month gap (GTA V pace) lands mid-2028. Take-Two's president signalled the PC version might arrive before March 2027 — the most aggressive official hint, but a hint, not a promise.
